Edmundo Ike Robles, 52, of La Puente California, passed away May 4th, 2023. Edmundo, otherwise lovingly known as "Raymond" was born in Tijuana, Mexico Jan 6th, 1971 to his mother Maria Robles De Nunez. Raised in Tijuana, Mexico and La Puente, California, Edmundo spent much of his childhood learning the family trade from his grandfather, Roberto Robles. He grew up to be a "jack-of-all-trades," skilled in plumbing, house repair, construction, and auto mechanics. Edmundo received his High School Diploma from Fairgrove Adult school and worked as a mechanic and local handyman in his community of La Puente for many years. Of all the skills Edmundo took pride in, the skill he was most proud of was his ability to care for others. With his large stature and friendly smile, Edmundo was known as a gentle giant of sorts, always willing to lend a helping hand and spread goodwill unto others. Never one to turn his back on those in need, Edmundo was a friend to all. His caring soul allowed him to make genuine connections with anyone he came across. These qualities, much like his grandfather's skill passed on to him, he passed on his thoughtful nature to his three children Vivian Isabel Robles Perez, Robert Daniel Robles, and Crystal Monzerrat Robles. With great sorrow in their hearts, but faith in his place in God's home, his children wish him peace and eternal life in heaven. Edmundo is also survived by his loving mother and sister, Maria Robles De Nunez and Nellie Marie Nunez. As the days pass his departure from earth, his children have been blessed to hear of the incredible impact their late father has had in the lives of his family, friends, and loved ones. Welcoming him at heaven's gate, Edmundo Ike Robles is predeceased by his beloved grandparents Maria Concepcion and Roberto Robles and his step father, Ramon Torres Nunez. Their substantial role in his childhood is something Raymond always attributed his best qualities to and his reunion with his grandparents and step father brings his surviving family members great comfort and peace as they all know how much their sweet Raymond loved and missed them dearly. Edmundo Ike Robles was a man of great faith, encouraging his children to have a relationship with God and walk in the path of their Lord. highlighted in his bible is Psalm 25:1-2 "Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
