I never thought I'd see this day coming anytime soon to say my last and final goodbye to my grandpa, losing one of the few people who I loved most. Nobody could've told my grandpa anything, he still did what he wanted to do at the end of the day. serious or not. I remember my grandpa by his smile, laugh, and voice, it was all one of a kind, no one could laugh, smile, joke around, or even talk like my grandpa roy, and that was what was so special about him for me. I grew up many years around him and throughout the years, my grandpa always was somewhere in between my life. We shared serious and non serious conversations, we shared funny moments together, we even had our disagreements. / know that some of the things my grandpa liked were, the casino, listening to rap and r&b, he loved to eat anything my grandma cooked, he liked getting his hair cut, and most of all he liked being around me, my auntie, and grandma. At the end of the day, my grandpa was a strong man, and to find out that the person I love is no longer here with me to share any laughs, conversations, and checkup on once in a while, makes me feel sad, and empty, but I know that my grandpa is in a better place and that he is at peace, I will always love my grandpa and cherish every moment we spent together, forever. Thank You for providing what I need, for leading me into moments of peace, and for restoring my weary soul. Guide me along Your paths of goodness and truth. When I face shadowed valleys and uncertain days, remind me that I do not walk alone. Your presence strengthens me, Your comfort steadies me, and Your protection surrounds me. Bless me even in the midst of challenges, and let Your favor rest upon me like oil on my head. Fill my cup with hope, courage, and joy until it overflows into every part of my life.
