Frances Rose Griffith, born in San Diego on August 3, 1944 and passed away peacefully April 26, 2026, surrounded by love and family. She was a woman of strength, dedication, humor and heart. She attended the University of San Diego where she furthered her education and developed the strong foundation that would guide her love for learning her whole career. For over 56 years, she devoted her life to preparing taxes, a profession she truly loved. She viewed her clients as extended family. She had a remarkable gift with numbers and fund joy in helping others navigate their financial lives with care and precision, and making sure Uncle Sam didn't get a penny more than they deserved. To many, she was more than a tax-preparer-she was a trusted friend and a steady presence year after year, many clients over 40 years. She was self-taught in accounting and worked at Warner Bros, Embassy Pictures as well as Roberts Consolidate to name a few. Beyond her work, she had a vibrant personality and a love for life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed spending time at the casinos, where her sharp mind and love of numbers followed her even in play. She loved watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, EVERY night and could have easily been a contestant who won. She was also a devoted member of Alcoholics Anonymous (36 years and counting), where she built lasting friendships and her additional family. She had 2 families that she loved and was close to her heart especially bonus son, Vince Luna. Her journey was one of perseverance and growth, and she was an inspiration to those who knew her. Above all, she cherished her family. She fiercely loved her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a one-of-a-kind Mama, and Granny Franny to the grandkids. She is survived by her loving children, Rose Chadwick, Tommy Winwood, Lisa Lucero and Delores Lara. Grandchildren, William, Lisa and Jeffrey Chadwick, Tommy and Kevin Winwood, Trestan and Nico Kueneman, Jade Lyon, Angelina Lara, Michael and Joshua Lucero and 9 Greatgrandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Delores Rogers and her son, Ben Lucero. Mama, you will be deeply missed, we will love and honor you forever. A mass will be held on May 9th, 2026, at 11:30 at St Christophers Catholic Church 629 S Glendora Ave, West Covina, CA 91790. Immediately following there will be a celebration of life at Lisa Lucero's 11731 Vernon Ave, Chino CA 91710.
